How to build a local lead list with Claude and treg
By Ben Lane
Map: dental practices and roads in Leeds from OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL), drawn for this guide
If you sell to local businesses, the list is where every campaign starts, and it is the part nobody enjoys: a lead database billed every month whether you use it or not, or an evening copying names and numbers out of Google Maps. With Claude and a pay-as-you-go data account called treg, you ask once, in plain English, for every dental practice in Leeds or every accountancy firm in Bristol, and Claude comes back with a spreadsheet: each business's name, address, phone number, website and the email address published on its site, with every email checked before it goes on the list. You pay for each search it runs, a fraction of a cent at a time, and there is no subscription to cancel later. This guide takes you from nothing set up to that spreadsheet for your own area.
